This is a true nation-building project that will underpin Australia's transition to renewables. The pumped-hydro expansion of the Snowy Scheme will link two existing dams, Tantangara and Talbingo, through a 27km underground tunnel and a new underground power station is the largest of its kind undertaken anywhere in the world. You will work within the integrated planning team, the onsite Project Management team and along with the Contractor to verify and validate all data and configured information. Reporting to the Planning & Scheduling Manager as well as the onsite Senior PM. This key role supports onsite delivery and the programme as a whole by identifying and rectifying gaps in the planning and scheduling for the project. Key Accountabilities: Analyse data from primary Programme, Primavera P6, along with other key Project platforms in HSE, Quality pillars etc. Assure data at each stage of development by developing safeguards/gross checks. Verify the short-term lookahead plans at L5 and L6 detail. Continuously brief the Project Managers on alignment or divergence from the Project baseline programme. Tertiary qualified in construction management or engineering, you will bring a solid career history of planning and scheduling in a similar mega-project; civil, mining or hydro. Your ability to communicate with colleagues and external stakeholders onsite will allow you to build rapport and drive relationships with cross-functional teams. This is a FIFO role, ex Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane on a 14/7 roster. A strong base salary plus superannuation is complemented by a roster allowance, site allowance and an annual bonus.
