This role is crucial in managing global brands such as The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, HarperCollins, and the New York Post.
Successful candidates should have extensive prior IP experience working in a busy corporate legal department.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage global trademark, copyright, patent, and domain name portfoliosHandle prosecution, enforcement, and litigation mattersConduct in-house trademark clearance searches and prepare summaries for attorney reviewReview trademark searches and collect specimens of usePrepare trademark maintenance and renewal applicationsAssist with copyright registration proceduresPerform basic patent docketing and maintenanceMaintain and update IP databasesCorrespond with foreign counsel and vendors worldwideQualificationsExperience and Education:8+ years of domestic and international IP paralegal experiencePrior law firm experience preferredTechnical Skills:Proficiency in Saegis database and USPTO's eTEAS systemFamiliarity with WebTMS or similar trademark docketing systemsExperience with Copyright Office website functionsExpertise in online database tools for IP managementCore Competencies:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentCapability to handle complex issues and maintain accuracyThis position offers an exciting opportunity to work with globally recognized brands in a dynamic corporate legal environment.

Pay Range: 85,000 – 110,000
