About the Position
In this role, you will play a key part in the planning and oversight of major projects. You will manage civil engineering specifications, prepare detailed reports, and oversee the tendering process.
Key responsibilities include ensuring that designs are delivered on time and meet all relevant standards, as well as maintaining regular communication with key clients and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project coordination.
You will also contribute to strategic decisions and shape the company's direction, while mentoring junior engineers and sharing your expertise to support their growth and development.
Duties
* Project Design: Design projects using Civil software such as MUSIC, DRAINS, 12D, and AutoCAD.
* Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive Civil Engineering reports.
* Project Management: Take control of planning and delivering all projects from start to finish.
* Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
* Mentorship: Train and develop junior team members.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
* Advanced proficiency in HECRAS, TUFLOWS, and DRAINS.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills for team and client liaison.
* Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards.
