Join our Cyber Engineering team and lead the development and execution of our Identity Roadmap, focusing on Identity and Access Management (IDAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM). What you will do:
1. Drive the implementation of information security strategic and tactical plans.
2. Act as a point of contact within the organization for members of staff, regulators, and any relevant public bodies on issues related to Information Security.
3. Engineering, implementing, and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
4. Identifying and defining system security requirements.
5. Reviewing security engineering investigations/assessments in compliance with Government standards (ISM, ASD guidelines, NIST, ISO etc.).
6. Promote a culture of security compliance across all units of the organization.
7. Designing computer security architecture and developing detailed cyber security designs.
8. Reviewing existing processes and security controls, assess and improve existing processes and procedures in a very agile and fast-moving IT environment.
9. Liaise with other organizations for security assessments.
10. Perform audits and determine whether we need to alter our procedures to comply with regulations.
11. Assess existing security issues within the organization.
12. Analyzing risks and conducting ongoing security assessments.
13. Investigate breaches and implement plans of incident response.
14. Continually develop internal security policies for the organization.
15. Policy tuning of IPS/IDS/WAF devices, in line with network and application requirements.
16. Recommend further development to keep the organization in line with security best practice and on top of industry standards.
What we are looking for :
17. Experience with Active Directory or Azure AD.
18. Strong knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services) Security Services.
19. Strong knowledge of Azure Security Services.
20. Strong understanding of Network Security Groups and Application Security Group configuration
21. Proven work experience as a System Security Engineer or Information Security Engineer.
22. Experience in building and maintaining security systems.
23. Detailed technical knowledge of database and operating system security.
24. Hands on experience in security systems such as IDS/IPS, Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Security Event Correlation and EDR.
25. Strong PAM and IDAM experience (Beyond Trust and Okta desired).
26. Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools. SD-WAN + SASE desired but not essential.
27. Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols. (ASD Essential 8, ISM, ISO 27001 and NIST).
28. Experience in Infrastructure, Platform and Application Security.
29. Demonstrated experience of Cloud security practices (Azure and/or AWS).
30. Experience building security response playbooks.
31. Certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, CEH or CISM desired.
32. Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive and confidential information.
