About the role:
The Water Quality Team Member must provide a high standard of expertise in all aspects of pool maintenance and water chemistry balancing. You will deliver professional water quality management to ensure a safe swimming environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Have a solid understanding of pool chemical parameters or standards and how to maintain these ensuring a safe swimming environment.
* Understand and be able to operate all automated chemical metering and chemical dosing equipment to an operator’s level. Required to make and maintain adjustments.
* Experience with daily maintenance of filtration systems, lint strainers, chemical delivery & dosage pumps.
* Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standard.
* Complete all work orders to maintain correct record keeping processes.
* Ensure all work orders are completed within scheduled timeframes in order to guarantee a consistent standard of workload output.
* Health and Safety – Perform all tasks in a manner that is safe for the individual concerned, externals and other staff members.
* Comply with RWS and business specific WHS policies and procedures.
* Report hazards, near misses, injuries and incidents.
* Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment.
* Cooperate with Management and other team members to ensure the workplace is safe.
* Attend WHS training as directed and comply with WHS Policies and Procedures.
* Adhere to the Employee Handbook content and requirements.
* Scooping and/or vacuuming of pools.
* Cleaning filters and chlorinators.
* Hourly Testing and balancing of pool chemicals.
* Adjusting chlorinator, pump and controller settings.
* Maintenance of pool cleaners.
* Equipment repairs and some plumbing.
* Perform scheduled maintenance procedures on pool equipment.

* Fluent in English.

* Be able to work in all weather conditions including sun and rain, hot and cold climates, indoor and outdoor work. Physical requirements include but are not limited to - walking, carrying, lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, squatting, sitting, standing, twisting and repetitious movement.
* Review, check accuracy and sign off on staff timesheets.
Experience:
* A current NSW Swimming Pool Operators certification or NSPF certified pool operator. Or similar (desirable).
* A Forklift licence (desirable).
* Commercial pool experience (desirable).
* Manual drivers licence (desirable).
