About the role We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced legal secretary to join our Melbourne office. In this role, you will provide quality and efficient support to the Partner and lawyers in our Real Estate practice. Our Real Estate team is collaborative and collegiate. Your primary role will be to assist the partner and lawyers in making sure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently. Key tasks include: Providing administrative support to the partners and fee earners Assisting with client management and interactions Coordinating stamping and registration Assisting with the monthly billing process Managing confidential firm information and opening new matters Preparing various documentation and correspondence Assisting with PEXA transactions Inputting and maintaining client data into client relationship software Managing diaries, juggling and arranging appointments and coordinating client meetings About you To be successful in this role you will ideally have 4 years' experience working in a medium to large sized law firm and be highly driven and client service focussed. Whilst we have a flexible workplace, the inherent requirements of this role make it one which needs to be predominantly office based. Excellent communication and strong Microsoft Office skills are essential in this role. You will be capable of using automated billing systems and client relationship management software (Elite 3E and InterAction preferred). Previous experience using PEXA is advantageous.
