DescriptionOur Aviation team is seeking an experienced Aviation broker to join the Sydney office. Utilise your industry knowledge and technical skills in this collaborative and high-performing team. The purpose of this role is to manage and expand a portfolio of clients, ensuring that their risk management and insurance broking needs are addressed. This includes developing relationships with existing clients and implementing business development strategies for new opportunities, contributing to the overall growth of the portfolio.
The Role Service and manage clients as directed by the Head of AviationPrepare client reportsLiaise with underwriters, insurers, and other key industry stakeholdersAssist the Head of Aviation with client renewal programsMarket WTW and develop new businessManage customer records and databasesLiaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve client queriesProcess insurance closings, endorsements, and policy certification/wordingsManage claimsMaintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and other key partnersExplore cross-selling opportunities with WTW brokingObtain formal client feedback annually for all qualifying accounts in accordance with Willis Towers Watson Client Service protocolsRepresent the client's perspective internally and within teams when making decisions about processes, approaches, and future strategiesEnsure settlements, client cash allocations, and credit management are within agreed parametersGuarantee that each client has an agreed service plan, and that client advocates implement all aspects of the planMaintain and develop strong relationships with insurersIdentify development needs and establish clear goals to support colleagues' learning and career progressionAchieve and maintain compliance with relevant legislative requirements for your client baseGenerate new business opportunities contributing to the continued growth of the teamOffer premium funding where appropriate QualificationsThe Requirements Proven aviation broking experienceExcellent technical skills in coverage and wording reviewAn understanding and proficiency of claims management processesExperience with the placement and servicing of complex and multinational clientsProven success in generating new businessOral and written communication skills on individual and small group basisSuccess in managing team relationships and senior level client relationshipsProficiency in all MS Office products and OutlookIf you believe you have the skills and passion for this role, but don't meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
