About the School:
Currumbin Community Special School is a modern, purpose built, special school; catering for Queensland students from 5-17 years of age. Students with a diagnosed moderate to severe intellectual disability and possibly additional disabilities of Autistic Spectrum Disorder, vision impairment, hearing impairment and physical impairment are eligible to apply for enrolment.
Role:
Responsibilities include:
1. Undertake individual and group counselling with students with disabilities, parents and families to assist them in resolving personal or relationship concerns.
2. Provide professional social welfare assessments, interventions and follow up support to students with disabilities, parents/carers and individuals as required
