City of Mandurah Recreation Centres
Various hours available – must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday
City of Mandurah Recreation Centres are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to fill vacancies within the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre Swim School.
We are looking for people who enjoy working with children and who are committed to teaching quality Learn-to Swim programs (from infants 6 months to 4 years and up) in a safe, friendly and professional environment.
You must have the following key skills and experience:
* AUSTSWIM or equivalent teaching qualifications or Royal Life Saving Society Teachers (RLSS) Certificate
* AUSTSWIM or equivalent teacher of Infant Aquatics qualification (Desirable)
* Previous experience in swim teaching or instruction
* Sound communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work with minimal supervision, and as a team member
* RLSS Resuscitation Certificate
* Senior First Aid Certificate (Hold current qualification or be willing to obtain)
* Current RLSS Bronze Medallion (Hold current qualification or be willing to obtain)
* Current National Police Clearance (less 6 months) and Working with Children’s Check (or willingness to obtain)
You will need to be available to work weekday morning and afternoon shifts as well as on Saturday and Sunday morning shifts.
Part-time rates of $31.53 - $36.05 per hour and Casual rates $37.83 - $43.26 per hour depending on qualifications and experience plus weekend loadings, where appropriate.
