Job Title: Finance & Office Assistant
Sydney Asset Management is seeking a junior candidate to fill the role of Finance & Office Assistant. As a key member of the finance team, you will provide administrative support to the Executive team and contribute to daily office administration.

About the Role
This permanent position requires a candidate with full and indefinite working rights. Key Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the Executive team by planning meetings, scheduling appointments, and preparing reports and presentations.
* Drafting and posting social media content.
* Fulfilling ad hoc requests for Executive Directors.
* Assisting with finance duties, including preparation of invoices, monitoring payment, and processing accounts payable.
* Ensuring daily bank reconciliation and preparation of expense reports.
* Assisting with general ledger reconciliations, pay runs, and financial accounting, reporting, and budgets.
Fundamental Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Prior experience working in the property industry (highly attractive).
* A tertiary degree in a relevant field (looked upon favourably).
* Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task.
* Bookkeeping experience and proficiency in using accounting software such as MYOB or Xero.
* Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
