Description The Opportunity Our construction and infrastructure team are thriving and are now looking for an Associate based in Perth to support the development of major infrastructure and energy projects for domestic and international clients. As a leading construction firm in Australia, we advise participants on the largest and most complex major projects in the country and regionally. Focusing on the infrastructure and energy sectors, our team regularly acts for head contractors and developers in relation to the preparation and negotiation of EPC, O&M/FM, TSI, BOP, D&C, PPP and infrastructure financing documents, joint venture arrangements, supply contracts, connection agreements and other ancillary construction and services agreements. Our team also provides strategic procurement advice in relation to the early development phases and structuring of projects. As a core member of the Projects team, you will work closely with Partners and your colleagues (both in Australia and Asia) on high profile front-end energy and infrastructure projects primarily with major contractors and developers. Strong experience in advising and running PPP projects is ideal, although we will consider candidates with experience advising on front-end design and construct and EPC's. You will be given a high level of responsibility and autonomy to lead matters or work streams, so you will need to be a technical expert who is confident advising clients with complex drafting and negotiation skills. Additionally, you will be a key contributor to the success of the team, working closely with Partners on business development activities to identify new client opportunities and contribute strategically to proposal and tender efforts. You will also be encouraged to develop your own valuable relationships and build on your market presence. Though based in Perth, you will also work closely with the Sydney team to provide them with support.
