Job Description
Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel are looking for a Full-time Night Guest Service Agent who is passionate about providing excellent customer service to join the team.
The moment a guest steps into our hotel you will make them feel at home with your welcoming and warm presence. You have the important job of guiding guests through their stay, from smooth check-ins and check-outs to insights on the local attractions and eateries, you will be remembered for your superb customer service and positive energy.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Conduct guest arrivals and departures
* Confidently provide personalised, proactive guest service
* Provide outstanding guest experiences by demonstrating a commitment to service excellence and maintaining standards
* Maintain professional, open and honest communication to assist guests and make accurate bookings
* Ensure that all daily tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner
* Maintain accurate guest accounts, adhering to strict confidentiality policies and procedures
* Ensure guest queries and complaints are handled efficiently and effectively
Hourly Rates (excluding super): + Late night/ early morning penalties apply
Monday - Friday: $25.80 per hour
Saturday: $32.25 per hour
Sunday: $38.70 per hour
Qualifications
* Previous hotel front office/reception experience is required
* A commitment and passion for delivering exceptional, pro-active customer service;
* Strong computer skills/knowledge, training will be provided for reservations system;
* Professional interpersonal and communication skills;
* A high standard of personal presentation
* Availability to work 10pm - 7am on a rotating roster
