About the business Draslovka is a Czech family-owned global leader in CN-based specialty chemicals, which includes a Mining and Process Solution Business, an Agricultural Business, and a Specialty Chemicals Business. The Mining and Process Solution business supplies cyanide to the gold industry and also offers a sustainable solution for the metal mining industry with the Glycine Leaching Technology. Draslovka Mining and Process Solution business acquired the Chemours Mining Business in late 2021, establishing Draslovka as the global leader in cyanide manufacture and supply to the gold mining industry.
This role would be an integral part of the Draslovka Innovation Centre, whose remit is to rollout, demonstrate, and commercialize the Glycine Leaching Technology.
About the role We are currently looking for Project Engineers with at least 2 years of experience to join the team and help implement the technology on mine sites across the world. The incumbent's main task will be to support the timely execution of site programs as directed by the Draslovka Mining Innovation Centre.
Primary Responsibilities: Liaise with clients in a professional manner Update clients verbally and in writing Manage the execution of onsite testwork and plant trials Plan and conduct all assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner 50% of the role is hands-on, including physically conducting onsite work Assist with laboratory work in Perth when site assignments are unavailable Supervise Metallurgical Technicians or Metallurgists Undertake additional duties assigned by your manager Willingness to travel overseas for at least 75% of the annual workable hours Must be willing and able to travel overseas at very short notice for 2-week onsite periods The position reports to the Site Services Manager.

Skills and Experience: Bachelor's and/or Master's Level qualification in Chemical Engineering, Minerals Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering Professional proficiency in MS Office Hands-on mineral processing plant or laboratory experience Experience in supervising technicians High-level communication skills Must have the appropriate working rights in Australia with the ability to travel overseas for mine site assignments Excellent report writing skills Good understanding of project development and process development progression At least 2 years of relevant post-graduate experience on a mine site Ability to work autonomously and possess strong persuasive presentation skills Good understanding of hydrometallurgy or leaching Good understanding of Met Accounting
