Our team assists clients from a broad range of sectors including Energy, Transmission & Distribution, Transportation, Property & Buildings, Defence, and Mining. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team who will support your growth and development.What you’ll do:Prepare engineering drawing deliverables from sketches, calculations, and/or specifications.Assist the electrical design team with the development of designs.Work collaboratively with other design disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design.Set up and manage projects throughout the life of the project.Analyze client requirements for design drafting criteria to ensure that all appropriate specifications are included in the design requirements.Implement quality control processes to ensure that all drawings and documents meet the project requirements, and that the documentation is kept up to date.About you:Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or similar.High level drafting & detailing skills.High level use and understanding of 2D AutoCAD software.High level ability to develop electrical layouts, general arrangements, and schematic drawings.Ability to apply sound reasoning to engineering design activities where required.3D & Revit / BIM experience highly regarded but not necessary.Microstation experience is advantageous.Experience in transmission secondary design is advantageous.Good oral and written communication skills.Australian citizen or permanent resident preferred due to work with Defence projects.With us, you can.
