About the Role We are seeking a visionary Associate Director, Research Infrastructure and Systems, to lead and shape the strategic direction of our advanced research facilities and systems. In this key leadership position, you will drive innovation across our state-of-the-art infrastructure, fostering research that makes a global impact. Your role will involve the optimisation and growth of cutting-edge research resources, empowering our research community to produce high-impact, globally recognised work. As a senior leader, you will oversee the operations of centralised research facilities and ensure their long-term sustainability and guide strategic investments via the research pipeline (PRI) process. Your influence will extend to policy and governance, where you will foster collaboration, maximise shared resources, and align with the University's research priorities. This role spans advanced materials characterisation, e-research, and digital collaborations, with responsibilities for staff, budget, and facilities across multiple campuses. Reporting to the Executive Director, Research, you'll be at the forefront of shaping research strategy and providing exceptional support to our researchers.
