The Family and Domestic Violence Response Team (FDVRT) is a partnership between the Department of Communities, WA Police, and non-government domestic violence services. The team aims to improve the safety of child and adult victims of family and domestic violence through a collaborative approach that focuses on timely and early intervention following a police call out to a domestic violence incident. As a Senior Child Protection Worker Family Domestic Violence, you will work as part of the FDVRT to provide a service to families and individuals who are experiencing or contributing to domestic violence. This service includes: Assisting District and Police staff in assessing domestic violence incident reports. Helping victims access support and services. Engaging with community groups and other agencies to promote awareness and support for victims. You will also respond to concerns regarding the safety and wellbeing of children and undertake complex case work activities. Qualification Requirements: You must have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a relevant human services area to be eligible for this position.
