Tocae Group is seeking an experienced hands-on Site Foreman/Carpenter to join their team on a large Retirement Village Project. Immediate start available to join a long-term project.
To be successful in this position, you will be an experienced Site Foreman/Carpenter in multi-unit construction and will be familiar with the responsibilities and performance requirements for this role.
You will exercise your skills and knowledge using various systems, materials and/or specialised techniques and will be required to coordinate resources managing time, forward planning and organising programmed works while working and communicating with the Project Manager.
Role includes: Driving refurbishment works and new construction of homes Hands-on role when necessary, including demolition and carpentry works Will be responsible for your own crew of operators/labourers to manage Supervising all trades and suppliers as required Overseeing WHS and QA requirements on site Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with the relevant codes and standards A high level of attention to detail and accuracy Must possess the following attributes: Previous project delivery experience in new builds and refurbishments Carpentry Trade with skills in Frame, Fix out and Fit off Experience in bobcat and excavator operation an advantage Looking for a long-term opportunity to grow and develop your career within the same company Ability to interpret construction drawings Ability to work under pressure and manage volume Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills for emailing, programming and ordering Knowledge and commitment to work, health and safety If you are interested in the role and have the skills required, please submit your resume today.
