Reach out to ****** listing your experience, or to find out further info.THE resources HUB RequirementsRole: As the Marketing & Events Officer, you will provide administrative and logistical support to the Senior Executive Officer in the planning, coordination, and execution of WASMA events and marketing campaigns.
You will be responsible for executing a variety of marketing tactics including social media, email marketing, and website updates.
This position will also provide administrative support to the team including managing data, filing, and general office duties which include stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities: Support the Senior Executive Officer and council in executing marketing campaigns and strategies Create content for and manage WASMA's social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram Manage email marketing campaigns, including creating content, building email lists, and tracking results Update and maintain the WASMA website using the content management system (CMS) Assist with event planning and logistics, including venue and vendor research, event registration, and attendee communications Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing, and office management tasks Support the team with ad-hoc tasks as required including coverage for the Senior Executive Officer during their absence.
Skills and Experience: Degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred Strong organisational and project management skills Experience with social media management, email marketing, and website management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with content management systems (CMS) preferred Experience with event planning and logistics preferred Working Conditions: WASMA values family and work-life balance.
Flexible and remote work is encouraged, notwithstanding agreed face to face meetings with the team at least twice a week.
The position will require occasional evening or weekend work to support events, including regional travel.
