Adolescent Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a temporary part-time Business and Operations Support and Personal Assistant to the Network Head of Adolescent Medicine. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced person looking for a new challenge. What you'll be doing The Department of Adolescent Medicine is a Network department located on both Westmead and Randwick campuses. The Department of Adolescent Medicine provides specialist services for adolescents and their families in a range of clinical areas including complex adolescent, eating disorders, gender, drug and alcohol, gynaecological, chronic illness self-management, PCOS, psychiatry and transition. The Business and Operation Support functions as a senior member in the Department of Adolescent Medicine. This position directly supports the Network Head’s managerial and academic duties and responsibilities as well as management of the department’s administrative practices. Demonstrated experience at a senior level. Demonstrated experience in Cost Centre management and financial reporting. Demonstrated ability to manage a high workload, prioritise tasks whilst under sustained pressure, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail to meet deadlines. Experience in coordinating departmental and external meetings, agenda preparation, minute taking, following up actions from meetings and distribution of same. Proficient use of multiple software packages including Microsoft, Outlook, Healthroster, Patient Management, CHIMP will be highly regarded. Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal skills and a professional customer service approach with staff, patients and families. Demonstrated ability to show initiative and use sound judgement to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently.
