Job Description
SGS is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the team in the Laboratory in Kalgoorlie.
Responsibilities Include, However, Not Limited To
1. Address any issues of safety, quality or HR non-compliance.
2. Organise work priorities to meet client’s requirements.
3. Supervise laboratory personnel with respect to safety, quality and production.
4. Data review and issue completed reports.
5. Train staff to maintain and improve their knowledge to be able to contribute towards progression of the laboratory.
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate will have the following:
1. Experience in laboratory work and chemical knowledge.
2. Experience in sample preparation.
3. Experience in ICP and gold assay techniques.
4. Effective communicator, both written and verbal.
5. Physically fit due to required tasks.
6. Meet site access requirements (ie: training, induction and medical requirements).
