Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services as part of the P4S program in Sydney Water's Southern Region of Sydney.D4C is a consortium comprising of John Holland, ServiceStream and WSP. We will provide long-term employment opportunities to diversify the skills of the people of the southern region of Sydney as well as creating pathways to enter the water industry.D4C are seeking a Site Engineer to join their expanding team to deliver excellence in the water project program of works across the Southern Region.What this role will entail: Delivering for Customers (D4C) in collaboration with Sydney Water are currently delivering the West Dapto Stage 3 project. This project will deliver the water and wastewater infrastructure to serve West Dapto's Cleveland precinct, which will provide approximately 4,500 new residential dwellings once complete. This is a significant infrastructure project for the Illawarra Region and will involve: Over 10 km of new wastewater mains Over 4 km of new water mains An upgrade of the existing Fairwater Drive sewer pump station As a Site Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will include but are not limited to: Supporting Construction Leads to ensure allocated projects are delivered to scope within time, cost, quality and regulatory standards. Setting daily, weekly and long term project programs to achieve required project outputs with plant, labour, materials and resources. Monitor and review costs, invoices and claims for allocated projects. Contributing to the constructability of a project with respect to design development. Undertaking tender, evaluation, and award of subcontract procurement packages. Monitor the quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material against drawings and specifications and arrange corrections or modifications where necessary as per Inspection and Test Plans. Analyse and use document and record management, progress and project performance reporting compliance reporting. Demonstrate sound people management skills by managing work and performance of self perform workforce and subcontractors to achieve outcomes. Liaise and coordinate with all external parties and relevant statutory authorities and manage their attendance on site as necessary. Contribute to and foster a good safety, quality, environment and a community culture with a view to deliver differently. Essential Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction, Construction Management or equivalent. 2-5 years engineering experience. Pre-contracts knowledge in relation to design, planning and legislative requirements is desirable. Demonstrated knowledge in health, safety, quality and environmental management. Client relationship and stakeholder management experience is desirable. Highly competent with MS Office. Drivers licence. White card. This role is important to our future growth and impact.
