The Opportunity
As our Procurement Sourcing Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our sourcing activities across direct and indirect categories, working alongside experienced procurement category managers to execute sourcing strategies across Australia and New Zealand. This role can either be based in Sydney - Australia, Swanbank – Australia or Auckland – New Zealand. You’ll be responsible for:
* End-to-End Sourcing: Managing RFPs, negotiating with suppliers, and designing sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Digital Transformation: Supporting our digital procurement journey by efficiently using Coupa and other tools to drive sourcing and supplier collaboration.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with internal teams and business requestors, fostering relationships that align sourcing initiatives with business goals.
* Data-Driven Insights: Providing essential data and analytics to support the development of key sourcing strategies.
What’s in your toolkit?
To enable you to hit the ground running, we’re looking for:
* Essential Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel to manage and analyse data effectively. Familiarity with Coupa, SAP, or Ariba is a bonus!
* Education Background: A business degree, computer science, engineering, or food science will set you up for success in this role.
* Stakeholder Management: Excellent relationship-building abilities, with a knack for influencing and collaborating across multiple functions.
* Adaptability: A flexible, agile approach as you contribute to Suntory Oceania’s ongoing transformation.
* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data, identify trends, and drive informed decisions.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate ideas to both internal teams and external suppliers.
* Presentation Skills: Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to convey key insights and strategies clearly and compellingly to diverse audiences.
