About The Marketing And External Relations DirectorateThe Marketing and External Relations (MER) directorate, led by the Chief Marketing Officer, encompasses Communications and Creative Services, Future Students, Digital Experience and Strategy and Planning. Marketing and External Relations plays a key role in profiling and positioning ACU as a first choice university among its diverse community of target and stakeholder groups, including prospective students, Catholic partners and communities, and staff. Marketing and External Relations at ACU is primarily responsible for building and enhancing ACU's brand and reputation, and promoting ACU as a first-choice study destination within our communities. Marketing and External Relations works across the university to achieve these objectives. Always seeking to put our audiences at the centre, the directorate provides integrated marketing services across the following areas: brand stewardship and management, advertising and campaigns, media relations, design, internal communications, student communications, student recruitment, digital experience, user experience research and design, market insights and analysis, and events.About The RoleAs the National Manager, Advertising and Digital Marketing, you'll play a key role within the Marketing and External Relations team and will be responsible for developing and delivering marketing activities that will drive student acquisition and retention through a systematic segment-based methodology. You'll work with directly with the Chief Marketing Officer and other members of the Marketing team to create and run integrated campaigns that deliver on the key objectives and outcomes required, ensuring that the customers digital experience is personalised and seamless. You'll be accountable for building and converting online traffic, facilitating the generation of online acquisitions through search and paid advertising, providing insights and data that optimises the user experience and conversions on the web, and develops and delivers digital campaigns to targeted segments to achieve ROI objectives. You will have the opportunity to build a digital marketing team of subject matter experts, and then effectively manage them to achieve these objectives through delegation of project tasks and communicating a clear set of strategies. This role offers the opportunity for the incumbent to innovate and transform our marketing and digital capabilities to set Australian Catholic University as a leader in the education sector.More Specifically The Role Entails Develop and implement annual advertising and digital marketing campaigns in line with the overall Marketing objectives. Deliver key marketing projects that will enhance student engagement and increase retention. Work with key stakeholders to deliver targeted and personalised acquisition campaigns. Use analytics and insights to increase digital conversions for campaigns. Develop and implement annual Digital acquisition plans in conjunction with other marketing specialists. Work closely with the digital marketing team in the delegation of tasks and activities to ensure the successful completion of campaigns and activities. Adopt a systematic approach to executing against plan (i.e. campaign, channel, data briefs, etc.). Establish and build strong working relationships with key internal partners (i.e. Future Students Team, Communications Team, CRM team) to facilitate implementation and adoption of campaign initiatives. Total remuneration valued to $151,285 - $161,435 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $127,838 - $136,506 (pro rata) pa (HEW 9), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff. Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
