Job Description
Your Role:
We are seeking an Inventory Controller to support the warehousing operation at Banksmeadow, NSW. The focus will be on undertaking and coordinating activities that help our operation maintain an optimal standard of inventory management and control.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate inventory processes, systems, and reporting.
* Liaise with customers on inventory issues, reporting, and adjustments.
* Identify discrepancies, conduct investigations, and prepare reports.
* Manage annual, cyclical, and ad-hoc stocktaking processes.
* Analyse inventory velocity to identify fast and slow-moving stock, and make recommendations.
* Plan for and implement new inventory into the operation.
Requirements:
* Experience gained in an inventory role within warehousing or storage.
* Experience in managing or operating inventory systems, procedures, and practices.
* Experience in managing or coordinating cyclical and annual stocktakes across a large SKU base.
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills to populate, manipulate, and understand data.
* Effective communication, problem-solving, and numeracy skills.
