Management - Vocational (Education & Training)The Training Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of vocational education and training programs in compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves managing training staff, ensuring high-quality training delivery, and maintaining compliance with the VET sector requirements.Key Responsibilities:Program DevelopmentDesign, implement, and continuously improve training programs that meet industry needs and comply with the RTO's scope of registration.Collaborate with industry stakeholders to ensure the relevance and currency of training materials.Quality AssuranceMonitor training delivery to ensure compliance with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) standards and other regulatory bodies.Develop and implement quality assurance frameworks and evaluation processes.Staff ManagementRecruit, train, and mentor trainers and assessors.Conduct performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities for training staff.Student SupportOversee student recruitment, orientation, and support services.Address student inquiries and feedback, ensuring a positive learning experience.Compliance MonitoringEnsure all policies, procedures, and practices comply with RTO standards and legislative requirements.Prepare for and coordinate internal audits and external regulatory audits.Industry EngagementBuild and maintain relationships with industry partners to facilitate feedback and collaboration.Stay updated on industry trends to inform program development.Performance EvaluationAnalyze training outcomes and assess the effectiveness of programs through student feedback, assessments, and other evaluation methods.Report on training effectiveness and recommend improvements.Budget ManagementOversee the training budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.Identify funding opportunities and manage grants as applicable.Qualifications and Skills:Educational Background: Degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, or a related field.
