Collaborating with partners, AIIB meets clients' needs by unlocking new capital and investing in infrastructure that is green, technology-enabled and promotes regional connectivity.The Loan Administration Unit under the Office of the Controller (CTL) advises front office project teams and participates in the planning for disbursement arrangements throughout an investment project cycle, ensuring consistency with the results of fiduciary assessments and compliance with relevant guidelines and procedures; reviews and approves disbursement requests in a timely manner; and assists the CTL Front Office with technical loan operation matters for private and sovereign sector clients.The Finance Analyst/Associate will work with the Loan Administration Unit and will focus on the Bank's back office operations on financial products (primarily loans, but may also include equity investments, guarantees and other financing products). The role is primarily for a professional whose specialty area is in multilateral development bank (MDB) back office support for sovereign operations, but consideration may also be given to candidates who have experience in commercial banking or non-sovereign operations.Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure comprehensive consideration of critical fiduciary aspects during project preparation.Set up new deals in financing management systems after signing and process relevant transactions in a timely and accurate manner throughout project implementation.Assist in reviewing and instructing disbursements in accordance with projects' legal agreements and the Bank's disbursement policies and procedures.Work collaboratively with related departments to maintain accurate project profiles and take timely and appropriate actions.Assist in the development, enhancement, and implementation of financing management systems.Assist in reviewing and monitoring relevant transactions, ensuring timely and accurate recording of accounting entries in the financing management system.Assist in reviewing and processing billing statements and loan repayments in line with the Bank's debt servicing policies and procedures.Reconcile with relevant parties regarding guarantee exposure.Perform other tasks related to financing management as required.Requirements:Minimum 2-5 years of relevant work experience in the field of non-sovereign operations in back office gained from prior positions with financial institutions.Robust knowledge of various financing products (loans, equity investments, guarantees and other financing products) administration over the full life cycle of projects.Self-motivated and able to build internal and external relationships to ensure seamless processes.Proven ability to work efficiently within teams and effectively communicate for results.Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related fields (Essential).AIIB is committed to diversity, transparency and inclusion.
