Overseeing a team of Senior Librarians and a Facilities Coordinator, the role ensures consistent, student-focused service delivery across 10 library locations.Your responsibilities will include:Lead and effectively deliver client-facing library services within the operational frameworks for agreed service models to ensure a superior, consistent, and comparable experience for students and staff.Ensure Scholarly Services’ informal learning spaces and other library spaces are developed and managed in alignment with University strategic and operational priorities.Lead creative continuous improvement and implementation of operational processes and initiatives which improve service experience and efficiency.Who we are looking forThe ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex issues independently and sensitively. They excel in interpersonal skills, including negotiation, persuasion, and motivation.You will also have:A relevant tertiary qualification and information management and staff leadership and management experience, or equivalent combination of extensive experience and education/training.Extensive experience and a proven track record in leading a team to develop and deliver library services in a large and complex organisation.Demonstrated experience in leading and influencing change within the workplace to promote a customer-service and innovation culture.Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
