The transformation you will experience
Our client servicing teams are experts in converting people expertise into business value, both internally for our people and externally for our clients. As a senior client lead within the Starcom agency, the Business Director is responsible for driving a trusted business partnership with clients to ensure we create experiences people love and actions brands need linked to business outcomes for our clients.
This role is also integral in ensuring that we are cultivating a high-performing team with high retention. The Business Director will collaborate with the Client Services Director to deliver the overall Starcom Vision and Strategy.
Your scope will include:
Client Partner
15. Understand the client’s business to create strategic and positive business partnerships with existing senior clients (Marketing Directors, Senior Brand Managers) with support from CSD.
16. Support the development and delivery of our client business plan and drive continual uplift of our TRR scores and delivery of any associated KPIs.
17. Identifies and drives organic growth opportunities with existing clients.
Product Leader
18. Lead the Starcom HX planning framework on all key briefs, ensuring campaigns are executed seamlessly by setting and leading the team working cadence under our Starcom Ways of working.
Capability and Culture Leader
19. Ownership of delivery of Performance Development reviews including development plans for direct reports; proactive identification and management of performance issues (with support from People and Culture);
20. Support the CSD in creating an environment that inspires, challenges and develops highly engaged teams to optimise their performance.
21. Role model leadership behaviours aligned to our culture and beliefs.
22. Continuously develop and elevate the capability of our teams and be responsible for the continuous uplift of agency cultural metrics.
Financial
23. Responsible for delivering client contractual commitments across all relevant channels
24. Delivery of accurate forecasting in line with agreed process
Brand Ambassador
25. Champion the Starcom brand across clients, media partners, trade press and wider Publicis Groupe agencies. Embed our brand story with all team members. Role model the expected behaviours and beliefs of the brand.

What type of person will be successful in this role
30. 10+ years of experience in media agency or similar roles
31. Extensive digital media experience in a media agency environment
32. Ability to work collaboratively as a client lead to deliver solutions in line with omni-channel strategy
33. Proven ability and demonstration of exceeding client and campaign objectives
34. Have managed a multi-discipline media team
35. Working with media owners and technology partners
36. Understanding of display/social/mobile/video and search platforms
37. Able to provide solutions and think outside of the box
38. A collaborative team member who thrives in working with others
39. A true professional with strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
40. Strong organisation skills with a love for being one step ahead
41. Has a curious nature with a willingness for continuous learning and fearless growth
