Mental Health Clinical Nurse Role

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based, recovery-oriented mental health services within our diverse Local Health Network. You will play a pivotal role in supporting consumers across community, acute, and rehabilitation settings, utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches to enhance individual and family well-being.
About You:
* Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
* Be enrolled and/or willing to enrol in further postgraduate studies within Mental Health practice.
* Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
* Experience working with Aboriginal consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality, person-centered care to consumers in our Mental Health Inpatient Unit.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Provide education and support to consumers and their families to promote recovery and well-being.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
