Position details Role Title: Automation Engineer Working arrangement: On-site position, working across standard business hours Benefits: Excellent team and excellent company culture Significant career development opportunities Innovative medicines that have a global impact Responsibilities: Develop industrial automation systems for current manufacturing equipment Design and develop an upgraded PLC system, including the programming of and selecting hardware components Develop HMI for real-time monitoring, operation and diagnostics Debugging and troubleshooting control systems, implementing failsafe mechanisms, fault detection, and recovery strategies Ensure all activities are being carried out according to 21 CFR Part 11 Carrying out risk management and supporting QA investigations The Successful Candidate will possess: Bachelor of Engineering or related At least 5 years engineering experience within automation, mechatronics, and control systems Competency in PLC programming – Wiring, layout and integration of control systems, and HMI/SCADA Working knowledge of low-voltage power distribution and grounding Excellent problem-solving skills and high technical aptitude Strong working experience in a highly regulated environment – Proven experience working in environments that are accredited by the regulatory bodies (TGA, FDA), and GMP Ability to work under significant pressure | Well-versed with thriving within a busy manufacturing environment Effective communication skills and good interpersonal skills About the company Our client is a well-funded, significantly expanding HealthTech company that is disrupting the traditional cancer therapy market.
