121212 Month Federal Government Contract NV1 Clearance mandatory ACT, QLD, VIC or SA - 6 weeks initially onsite before hybrid conditions thereafter Our Federal Client is looking for multiple Infrastructure Engineers to implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services. Senior Infrastructure Engineering Experts are accountable for the management of the organisations network infrastructure including WAN, LAN, WLAN, firewalls, routers, and switches and the computing infrastructure including data centre, mainframe, midrange, server, and desktop. Duties: Design/evaluate/implement infrastructure requirements to meet future infrastructure demand. Provide expert technical support for project build, test and solution deployment activities. Prepare, review and maintain documentation which may include design documentation, implementation plans, test plans, and support procedures. Participate in change management process and communicate the end-to-end implications of configuration changes. Provide detailed, specialist technical advice, including strategic advice to the senior executive. Engage and partner with other agencies and service providers to build service delivery capability. Manage the operation of backup, high availability and disaster recovery solutions for IT systems. Manage the regular maintenance of patches and support packages for all technical layers. Manage the administration and operation of the Gateway network kit.
