Senior Project Officer (Communications and Strategy)
Job Description:
The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Senior Project Officer (Communications and Strategy) to provide critical support to the Adult Parole Board. The role is responsible for maintaining the Board's reputation and providing strategic advice on communications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively identify emerging opportunities and issues that may impact the Board's reputation and provide strategic advice on communications
* Develop and implement communication projects to support the Secretariat's strategic business plan
* Manage a high volume of email and hard copy correspondence to and from the Board
About You:
* Excellent writing skills with great attention to detail and strong proofing skills
* Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality information and advice to senior staff on complex communication issues
* Demonstrated experience in writing and proofing material for print and digital media
* Demonstrated experience developing and implementing communication projects
* Demonstrated experience in building and strengthening relationships with stakeholders
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in communications and/or extensive experience working in a similar role is essential
