DescriptionAbout usThe Aurenne Group is a private company who acquired the historic Mt Ida - Bottle Creek gold field, 80 km west of Menzies in 2019. Ida which is truly second to none.Your duties will include but are not limited to:On the ground exploration including the planning of reconnaissance and sampling activities in coordination with the Project Geologist and the oversight of the execution of these activities with the Senior Exploration Geologist.Liaison and supervision of drill staff, contractors, and associated exploration activities.The coordination of the provision of data to the Project Geologist and supporting the interpretation of data where required.Ensure that sampling programs are performed accurately, professionally, on budget and address the drilling plan objectives as agreed with the Group Geology Superintendent.Where appropriate identify additional data that can be acquired and interpreted to enhance the exploitation on Group tenements.Requirements & Qualifications:B Sc (Geology) or equivalent.WA Australian Driver’s License C Class or above or equivalent.Minimum 5 years working as a Exploration Geologist with a significant portion of that being in Archean gold.Proficiency with GIS and 3D modelling software and database systems.High level of understanding of QAQC procedures, drilling and sampling practices and standard gold industry laboratory analytical methods.Experience with emerging technologies.Full Australian working rights.Current National Police Clearance.Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.Benefits of joining Aurenne Group:Access to free employee assistance program.Access to salary packaging options.Access to benefits through SWAG.Short-Term and Long-Term Incentives.Short commute to site.Brand new camp facilities.In-house catering staff.If this sounds like you or someone you know, we encourage you to apply at the link above.We believe in an equal opportunity workforce and encourage women and First Nations people to apply.Note: This position is available only to permanent Australian residents or applicants who hold the relevant Visa with authority to work in Australia.
