About the OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Stream Engineering Lead to join our Strategic Surveillance business unit based at Edinburgh Parks, SA. Reporting to the Power Systems Delivery Stream Manager, the Engineering Lead will lead and manage the power systems engineering delivery stream activities and outputs and act as the technical point of contact with the customer. Key responsibilities include: Undertake technical project strategy planning, through project evaluation and execution Act as the technical point of contact with the customer, build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Provide guidance and technical advice to the engineering team on the delivery of power systems engineering tasks Responsible for the technical solution of power systems engineer delivery stream projects, ensuring engineering is carried out in accordance with customer commitments Drive culture of power systems engineering best practice, efficiency and continuous improvement Support the submission of project bids, managing the power systems engineering aspects of project bids About YOU Extensive engineering experience in Electrical or a relevant discipline A university degree level engineering qualification in an appropriate discipline, and the ability to obtain chartered professional engineering status The ability to engage effectively with customers, coach and provide guidance, and the ability to develop effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders Proven ability to investigate and resolve technical issues, self-starter and able to work well autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment Engineering technical leadership or people leadership experience Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain We believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don't tick all the boxes.
