Supporting our clients to deliver projects and programs for Defence projects.Responsibilities:Lead on the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) specific deliverables within a larger project or leading direct M&E commissions, such as asset upgrade works.Self-motivated and client-facing (both internal & external) with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients.Establish early budgets, early estimating, cost planning, tendering and procurement, and post contract duties.Manage other Assistant Cost Managers and Cost Managers within the M&E team.Work collaboratively with a good knowledge of M&E systems and supply chain.Qualifications:A proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle.Professionally qualified (RICS or similar) or working towards.Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time.Experience in delivering M&E elements of work for clients.Knowledge & contacts within the M&E supply chain (tier 1 and below).Utilising digital software for delivery of cost management services.Commercially astute with good negotiation skills.Excellent people person and great communicator, both client facing and team based.Ideally an Australian citizen with NV2 clearance.Turner & Townsend is an equal opportunity employer.
