Volunteer opportunities include supporting our allied health therapy teams working with children and adults, supporting our lifestyles, sports, and accommodation clients, or gaining experience in our corporate services.
Details of the role:
The Kindy Kickstart program is designed to prepare pre-schoolers for kindergarten. The program will increase classroom participation across a range of areas including fine motor skills (early handwriting, dressing and cutting), social skills (sharing, taking turns, and waiting), attending skills (listening, following instructions and routine), and literacy skills.

Dates & Times:
Dates: Wed 8th Jan 2025 - Wed 15th Jan 2025 (excluding weekends)
Times: 9am - 12pm
Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Contribute to an engaging, goal-oriented, and strength-based group dynamic
* Support kids to engage with group activities such as turn-taking games, story time, and handball
* You will be working directly with Therapists in a multidisciplinary setting
* Help with set up and pack down for activities
* Not to assist with duties associated with the direct care of clients unless training has been provided (i.e., mealtime assistance, personal care, lifting and positioning, medication, or providing transport)
Role requirements:
* 16 years and above
* NDIS Worker Screening
* Working with Children Check (NSW)
