Hours per fortnight Up to 73.5 hours - flexible options available.
Duties Provide client-focused support for Department of Premier and Cabinet staff in relation to the use of the Department's web content management system (CMS), Squiz Matrix, and other online applications including training of staff where appropriate.
Provide ongoing systems administration, including liaison with business areas, information technology staff and consultants in relation to the management of the department's content management system and Agency websites.
Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of policies and procedures relating to the Department's use of web and digital content to ensure it is contemporary and works towards achieving the Department's strategic objectives.
Create user interfaces and prototypes from wireframes and designs ensuring their technical feasibility and translation to code using HTML and CSS markup languages by following and implementing recognised web development and UX/UI best practices including documentation, test-driven development to ensure software quality, performance, accessibility, maintainability and reusability.
The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.
Desirable Requirements Experience with the Squiz Matrix Content Management System would be highly regarded.
