Sales Operations & Program ManagerOngoing, full-time leadership opportunity$116,325 plus 15% superannuationWork for a fun, dynamic and diverse teamActewAGL Retail’s Energy Sales and Solutions team has a unique and exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and collaborative individual with a passion for problem solving and finding the best outcomes in a complex, competitive and dynamic landscape.The opportunityReporting to the Metering and Channels Manager, this role will offer you an opportunity to demonstrate your strong leadership and project management skills to lead a small team and effectively coordinate sales channel operations and the smart meter deployment project across ActewAGL’s energy business with an objective to deliver new revenue, growth and high-level operational efficiency.You are an astute communicator who will interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes, as well as within your own team to maintain salespipelines and achieve targets. Your strong operations background, business acumen and project management experience with a passion to succeed will hold you in good stead for this role.A day in the life of the roleSome of the things you can expect to do, but not be limited to, are:Maintain a leadership role (2x FTE reports) within the Energy Sales and Solutions branch and across ActewAGL Retail.Deliver channel sales and smart meter deployment targets to drive continuous market growth and to optimise ActewAGL market share.Manage and execute channel sales strategies and relevant projects to defend and extend residential and business market position to achieve market (share and churn), revenue, sales and profit targetsBuild and maintain strong communication and engagement with internal and external stakeholders in addition to compliance requirements such as risk assessment, contract review and the engagement of external suppliers where required.Please read the position description attached to this job advertisement to understand the full scope of the role.About youEssential:You have demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years) in retail sales management and associated strategies for acquisition and retention.You possess proven ability to coordinate a portfolio of business lines to meet objectives, targets and KPIs as reflected through our Retail Strategic Direction and long-term forecast.You are commercially orientated with the confidence, skills and experience to identify, negotiate and execute new contracts and agreements.You possess excellent communication and writing skills with strong liaison, negotiation and representation skills.Desirable:Project Management experienceTertiary qualification is advantageous but not essentialSo, why join us?At ActewAGL, we pride ourselves on putting our people first.
