In this role you will:
1. Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, and activity statements.
2. Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
3. Prepare management reports to help clients make informed business decisions.
4. Work with a diverse client base across various industry sectors.
5. Manage and administer your own portfolio of clients.
6. Participate in business development and networking events.
What you bring:
1. Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
2. CA or CPA in progress or complete.
3. Demonstrated expertise in taxation and superannuation legislation with strong technical knowledge of applicable regulations and compliance.
4. Previous experience in public practice. Ideally 4+ years experience.
5. Commitment to continuous learning and development.
6. Strong client relationship skills.
7. Excellent communication skills, including over the phone and via email, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
8. High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
