Senior Payroll Officer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our friendly payroll team.
You will have the flexibility to work either a shorter week (Monday to Wednesday) or shorter hours daily, allowing you to support your personal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end payroll for clients, including permanent and casual staff.
* Maintain and update employee personal records.
* Provide advice on payroll-related queries.
* Prepare and run monthly payroll reports.
* Prepare and submit payroll tax, PAYG, Workers Compensation, and other compliance returns.
* Perform payroll reconciliations.
* Ensure compliance and auditing for payroll tax, work cover, and superannuation.
* Participate in project work involving payroll system implementation and redesigning legacy processes.
About You:
* Prior experience in payroll.
* Prior experience in compliance and submission of payroll tax, work cover, and superannuation.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong Excel skills, including V look-ups.
* Ability to multi-task.
* Proven experience in managing competing priorities.
* Sound knowledge of Award structures.
