How to apply To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible: Current nursing/midwifery registration with the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Minimum of three (3) years post graduate experience in adult critical care with relevant tertiary qualification in Critical Care or working towards same. Proven ability to effectively function as a part of a team, create and maintain a positive workplace culture and articulate and achieve a vision for nursing services in the critical care environment. Demonstrated application of sound and contemporary knowledge of nursing practice issues in the critical care environment and in the recognition and management of deteriorating patients. Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, excellent written, verbal communication skills and ability to negotiate resolutions and resolve conflict. Proven ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice through planning quality and quality management. Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, present and evaluate education, clinical procedures and policies to staff and the community. Currently certificate in Adult Advance Life Support.
