Are you a passionate marketer with a love for cinema? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? Adelaide Film Festival is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Coordinator to join the team.
As the Marketing Coordinator, you will help implement AFF’s festival marketing strategy, connecting all aspects of our program to audiences, creating awareness, and driving ticket sales.
This role is suited to candidates with creativity, initiative and a sophisticated understanding of cinema and festival audiences.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with the planning, implementation and monitoring of digital and social media strategies.
* Content creation, including writing copy and basic design, photo and video editing.
* Liaising with media partners, cinemas, printers, publicists, audiences and film industry.
* Coordination of marketing interns, volunteers, and contractors.

Requirements:
* Degree qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Media, Arts, Film or equivalent.
* At least 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in film, the arts or entertainment industry.
* Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills — written, verbal and digital.
* Strong understanding of social media platforms and their use in marketing.
* Experience working with a team and external partners.
* Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends during the festival period.

The Adelaide Film Festival (AFF) is a celebration and exploration of Australian and International screen culture with a unique program of screenings, forums, and special events. Established in 2003 as a State Government entity, AFF won the 2021 Ruby Award for Best Festival and was recognised by Variety as one the top 50 film festivals in the world.
