Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement manufacturing processes and layouts aligned with lean principles.
* Design and document standard procedures to ensure compliance with best practices.
* Calculate production times and identify opportunities for cycle time and cost reductions.
* Conduct PFMEA workshops and apply Six Sigma problem-solving methodologies.
* Manage data and processes in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
* Support engineering teams in designing assembly processes and developing detailed work packages.
* Oversee tooling and fixture procurement specifications in collaboration with procurement teams.
* Facilitate knowledge transfer and training for internal teams and external contractors.
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
About You
You are a highly motivated and organised engineer with experience working with machinery in a manufacturing environment. You thrive on solving problems and are skilled at managing multiple projects.
Key Skills and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing engineer, industrial engineer, or process optimisation role.
* Previous experience working on changing factory layout would be highly regarded.
* Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for industrial assembly.
* Exceptional organisational and analytical skills with a focus on detail.
