Our IT division is headed up by an experienced IT project manager so, when you work with us, you will be working with someone understands your requirements based on real-world experience.To end June 2025 (possible extensions)$85/hr + SuperFully remoteStart ASAPApplications close Monday 24th of March.About the role:The Content and Assessment Writer is responsible for ensuring learning and assessment resources developed align to the qualification, unit requirements, legislative and industry requirement and standards.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and update assessment tools ensuring they meet the assessment requirements of the relevant Training Package or VET accredited qualification; Principles of Assessment and Rules of Evidence, and TAFE Queensland's training and assessment processes and practices.Produce assessment mapping and other ancillary documents and resources as required.Participate in validation of assessment tools prior to use.Develop, review and update learning resources that are well structured, accurate and stylised to meet approved guidelines and learning resource design principles.Make modifications to the resources based on the Quality Assurance/Validation/Vocational specialist process and respond to the feedback positively and promptly.Work with Product Lead / Product Coordinator to establish objectives, requirements, milestones and set mutual responsibilities.Contribute to the development of a culture which is team based, collaborative, consultative and outcome focussed, which includes prompt response to feedback, raised issues and changes.Model and actively promote an ethical and safe work environment that supports a culture of zero harm and best practice regarding health, safety, wellness and sustainability.Good working knowledge of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) guidelines, Standards for Training Packages, Standards for RTOs 2015 and able to interpret and understand Training Package or VET accredited qualification units of competency and assessment requirements.A demonstrated ability to develop valid and reliable assessment tools as well as associated documentation, by having a clear understanding of training packages, their components and requirements.A demonstrated ability to develop learning resources, ensuring content meets learning and teaching needs and reflects industry current practices.A demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive relationships with team members, stakeholders and clients by working collaboratively, operating as an effective team member and anticipating and responding to client and stakeholder needs and expectations.Proven ability to organise and achieve quality work outcomes, meet deadlines and function autonomously within a team environment focusing on systemic quality processes.Qualifications which align with any of the specific requirements of the role as described in the Training Package Areas.TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;TAE40110, andTAELLN411 or TAELLN401A;TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B;TAE50111 or TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training;TAE50211 or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development.Vocational competency to the level of being delivered and assessed.Demonstrated experience in developing learning and assessment resources and delivering outcomes on time and to a high standard.Thank you for your interest.
