About the RoleThe Project Engineer is a full-time permanent position, based at Ingleburn. Reporting to the National Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the site capital works, including upgrades planned to meet our future business objectives. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer, with a Mechanical Engineering background who excels in leading complex plants, equipment and infrastructure upgrades, driving positive change, and developing strong leadership skills. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive project plans (scope, objectives, resourcing, costs, and milestones) to provide a consolidated view across all functions and/or workstreams.Manage a diverse range of contractors and suppliers both local and international.Manage, review, and prioritize the project work plans with the objective of delivering the scope and stay on time and on budget.Track budget, benefits, timelines, issues, and risks/opportunities of the project against plan.Energy, waste & water project improvements and sustainability performance monitoring.Understand project methodologies including experience in delivery of business outcomes with software and business components.Able to build and maintain relationships and communicate across many different functions and organization levels.What You Bring to the RoleDegree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.Proven ability to successfully deliver projects in complex brownfield manufacturing environments to an agreed scope on time and within budget.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Knowledge of glass fiberizing technologies – not essential.Liaising with Supplier and a strong focus around stakeholder engagement.Demonstrated Leadership & Technical success.SAP Experience.What We OfferWe strive to support your professional and personal growth.
