Our team provides adult, child & adolescent, couples and family counselling to the local community. Our extensive GP referral base built over many years allows for varied and busy caseloads. At Essential Life Psychology, we work together to deliver our therapeutic skills and models of choice for our clients. An experienced intake team manages all incoming calls and referrals, matching clients to you and your caseload with warmth and efficiency. Experienced supervision is available to develop and maintain your professional development requirements and areas of interest. About the position: The successful applicant will be able to provide treatment intervention across a range of issues including anxiety & depression, grief & loss, stress management, attachment, relationships, simple and complex trauma, and PTSD. Ability with differing demographic groups and treatment areas is essential. We require a warm and motivated Psychologist who is committed to the needs of clients, has strong organisational skills and reliability. Ability to work autonomously as well as enjoy being a member of a team is necessary. A commitment to ensure ongoing continuity of care for clients and referral base is expected. Administrative support is available for taking care of client intake and I.T. Secure, ongoing caseload provided. This is a contract position offering a variety of working hours across the week for the right applicant. Minimum 2-3 year contract. Our experienced team enjoys sharing our skills and supporting each other. We work to meet the needs of our clients and maintain awareness of therapist self-care and well-being.
