About us:
At our Community Care Unit, we offer medium to long-term mental health care and rehabilitation in a supervised residential environment for individuals aged 18-65 who are in recovery and need assistance transitioning to independent living.
Our dedicated team supports residents in developing essential skills for community living, such as maintaining both physical and mental health, managing medication, and acquiring life skills like cooking, cleaning, and shopping. We also help residents access public transport and connect with community organizations for social or recreational opportunities, as well as support their return to work or study.
Additionally, our staff assist residents with referrals to further supports and provide guidance to families and caregivers.
About the role:
* Work directly under the supervision of registered nursing/midwifery practitioner to provide direct and non-direct care.
* Assist with the personal hygiene and appearance of the recipients of healthcare services.
* Gather information about resident/patient care needs by observing the resident/patient and reporting to the registered nurse to assist the registered nurse to assess, plan and evaluate care.
About you:
* It is highly desirable to have completed a relevant Certificate 3 or successfully completed equivalent of 12 months full time study in a diploma of nursing or Bachelor of Nursing program.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $82,239 p.a. is comprised of:
* An hourly rate between $33.20 - $36.35 p.h.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution.
