To support with this exciting expansion, we are now partnering with the business to find a General Manager - Foodservice.The RoleThe General Manager - Foodservice will be responsible for driving business growth, managing key customer relationships, and leading a hungry and motivated sales team. This role will focus on new business development as well as account management, promoting Pure Dairy's portfolio, brand and value proposition to a range of new and existing clients. The General Manager - Foodservice will be instrumental in building a robust Foodservice division, that will continue to be a trusted partner delivering quality and exceptional service.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Execution: Execute a comprehensive sales strategy, setting measurable targets to drive growth across all food service channels. Identify new opportunities, optimise existing relationships, and exceed revenue goals.Team Leadership & Development: Lead and inspire a top-tier sales team. Create a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and provide growth opportunities to develop team capabilities.Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key clients, understanding their business needs to deliver tailored solutions that foster long-term loyalty and satisfaction.Market Expansion: Leverage industry knowledge and insights to expand market reach. Develop plans to penetrate new markets, launch products, and introduce targeted solutions to meet evolving industry demands.Financial Accountability: Take ownership of the Food Service Sales P&L. Set and monitor financial targets, manage the sales budget, and ensure resources are used effectively to maximise profitability.Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics and performance metrics to inform decisions, adjust strategies, and optimise sales effectiveness. Prepare and present reports to senior management on key sales activities and growth initiatives.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure alignment on strategies, product launches, and customer needs.QualificationsExperience: 8+ years in sales leadership, ideally within the food service or hospitality industry (ideally some dairy), with a strong record of driving sales and growing market share.Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team. Skilled in coaching and building a strong team culture.Client-Focused Approach: Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed customer expectations.Strategic & Financial Acumen: Strong analytical skills with P&L responsibility, financial planning, and budgeting experience. Ability to set and manage priorities effectively.Adaptability & Drive: Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
