About the Client
The client is an established and growing supplier and distributor of high-end furniture and interior products for the residential and commercial interiors market across WA.
The Role
This strategic hands-on leadership position will oversee and drive the success of the teams via their client base of retail customers, residential A&D, commercial A&D, builders, developers, and end users.
You will be responsible for ensuring the sales team hits budgets and targets while always looking at areas for improvement and increased revenue opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of retail, styling, and commercial sales staff.
* Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
* Ensure a consistent high level of customer service and customer satisfaction.
* Report back to the directors on performance and areas for improvement.
Skills Required
We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate the following skills:
* Previous successful experience in a sales management role within the high-end retail furniture, commercial furniture, or decorative interiors industry in WA.
* Strong leadership experience and skills with the ability to motivate a team and create a culture of success.
* Possession of passion for training, coaching, and developing staff.
* Previous experience of selling premium brands associated with furniture and interiors.
* SOME A&D SALES EXPOSURE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE SALES/SPECIFICATION PROCESS.
* Willingness to be the face of the business in WA and be hands-on in driving sales.
* Solid commercial acumen with strong reporting skills.
