The OCM Specialist plays a critical advisory role to the Program Leadership Team, focusing on identifying and mitigating Organisational Change Management (OCM) risks and developing effective OCM strategies.
Responsibilities
* Establish OCM plans for new projects in collaboration with assigned project leads.
* Provide ongoing support and coaching to project leads and teams on project OCM requirements and stakeholder engagement.
* Develop pre-engagement plans for project leads prior to major milestones and stage gates.
* Create communication materials for project leads and stakeholders for important announcements.
* Facilitate regular OCM meetings with project leads as needed.
* Review project presentations for OCM effectiveness.
* Troubleshoot OCM approaches for each project when necessary.
* Present OCM updates at the weekly program leadership meeting.
* Conduct pulse checks and ad-hoc engagements with key program stakeholders.
* Continuously improve program procedures and guidance notes incorporating OCM best practices.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated consultative background with expertise in problem-solving, strategy development, influence, and planning.
* In-depth understanding of how individuals navigate change and the change process.
* Experience applying change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
* Background working on large-scale organisational change initiatives.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
